Welcome
Steady. Clear. Human.
Helping people and organizations navigate life's most profound transitions.
Helping people and organizations navigate life's most profound transitions.

Presence & Passage was founded by Amy Brennan, an end-of-life doula, grief coach and communications leader who believes conversations about death & grief should not begin in crisis.
Through facilitation, advocacy, communication, education and support, Presence & Passage helps individuals, families and organizations navigate serious illness, caregiving, grief and end-of-life experiences with greater clarity, confidence and connection.
There is no single way people move through dying, caregiving or grief.
Some people want practical support. Some need help having difficult conversations. Some simply want another steady presence in the room.
Presence & Passage offers grounded, nonmedical support through end-of-life and the experiences surrounding it. The work is not about fixing, interpreting, or directing. It is about helping people feel more informed, supported, and less alone in what is happening.
Organizations spend significant time preparing people for professional challenges but far less time preparing them for life's inevitable human experiences.
Employees navigate serious illness, caregiving responsibilities, grief, aging parents, terminal diagnoses and personal loss every day. Managers are often expected to support their teams through these moments with little guidance, training, or confidence.
Through workshops, leadership training, communication resources, facilitation and consultation, Presence & Passage helps workplaces develop a more capable and compassionate approach to serious illness, caregiving, grief and loss.

Every person will experience death, grief, serious illness, caregiving or profound loss at some point in their lives.
Yet many of us move through these experiences without preparation or language for what is happening.
Presence & Passage creates space for those conversations before urgency takes over.
Whether working with an individual, a family or an organization, our role is not to direct the journey but to help people move through it with greater confidence and connection.
Whether you are supporting a loved one, navigating a serious illness, experiencing grief or exploring how your organization can better support employees through life's challenges, I'd be honored to connect.
An introductory conversation offers an opportunity to share your situation, ask questions, and determine whether Presence & Passage feels like the right fit.
Let’s talk if you're curious about working together, interested in bringing a workshop to your organization or simply want to learn more.
Say hello & let's stay connected!
